Surfing the Web about RIA technologies and trends, I found the following article from an Oracle guy that explains why Oracle discourages the use of Javascript in an RIA development factory.
I agree with this point of view, not on the pros and cons of the language himself, but more on the quality of the Javascript development environments and its relation with the HTML language and DOM manipulation.
And I think this trend is not going to be lowered in the next days or monthes
