Adobe announce 100 millions downloads for AIR

Less that a year after the first release of AIR, Adobe has announced that its AIR runtime has been downloaded more than 100 millions times. I am quite impressed by this number, this sounds like a record in the IT landscape, and it seems to me a little over evaluated given the fact that I have not seen that many AIR applications.

Adobe AIR on Linux

Adobe today announced the final release of the AIR runtime on Linux. This is very first release of the runtime on Linux.

So, Adobe is the first RIA provider to offer a uniform runtime on Windows, Mac and Linux.

See what will be the Microsoft reaction in the near future.
